Houston Community College Missouri City Campus Student Center

Houston Community College Southwest, one of six regional colleges in the vast HCC system, was opening a new campus near Missouri City Hall to support growth in Fort Bend County with increased enrollments and expanded programs. M2L worked with PDG Architects to provide site design and landscape architecture for the new campus’s student center, whose highly visible architecture and central location serve as a welcoming campus gateway for students and visitors alike.

M2L designed a low-maintenance landscape that included native prairie plant materials and vegetation. The firm also worked with the architects to design an outdoor patio that opened to planned campus attractions at the building’s rear, while utilities and services were redirected to the west side of the building to provide better access.
