Grundfos Americas Headquarters

Grundfos, a Danish manufacturer of water pumps with more than 20,000 employees, sought to open an Americas headquarters to strengthen new markets across the Americas and promote the company’s innovative products and technologies. Just as important to the project’s success, the company wanted to showcase its deeply engrained commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The two-story LEED Platinum campus today includes more than 48,000 square feet of education, exhibition and training spaces surrounded by park-like green spaces, ponds and a custom water feature. The LEED Platinum certification goal informed every design detail, with creative and innovative water solutions leading the way. In addition to rebuilding soil foundations and implementing extensive solar and LED lighting solutions throughout the campus, M2L designed and expanded an adjacent pond to collect rainwater runoff for irrigation. A stunning indoor fountain is replenished by air conditioning water condensate, and even the parking lot includes water infiltration using permeable-grass parking spaces.

The new Grundfos Americas headquarters facility is a beacon of growth in west Houston and a shining example of sustainability achievement.
