Baytown Crossings is a 520-acre, master-planned community 25 miles east of Houston that, when fully completed, will be home to approximately 1,600 families in four distinct village neighborhoods. The community features safe, convenient access to major thoroughfares and employment centers, large lakes and waterways, miles of sweeping trails and green spaces, family-friendly playgrounds, and other natural amenities, while providing much-needed housing in the rapidly growing eastern suburbs of Houston.
M2L worked closely with the developer to first create a comprehensive landscape theme and branding for the community, with a unique logo identifier for each phased neighborhood. Designers leaned into the coastal Baytown ecology throughout the project, carrying the theme through the phased implementation. Entry signs for each neighborhood feature large, Corten steel blades for strength and durability with unique, stainless steel logos to give each village a distinct but integrated identity.
