M2L Associates has been selected for another task order contract for the city of Houston Parks and Recreation Department (HPARD). To date M2L has successfully designed and built more than 80 parks, totaling $65 million worth of public improvements since 2002. The projects have had budgets from $75,000 to $20 million and range in size from half an acre to more than 25 acres.

Project elements falling within the firm’s work with HPARD have included parking lots, facilities investigation, playgrounds, splash pads, aquatic centers, pavilions, trails, sports fields, nature parks and community centers.

“We couldn’t be prouder to continue our successful partnership with HPARD as we work together to create and improve green spaces across greater Houston,” M2L Principal Michael Mauer said. “Parks, trails and green spaces enhance every aspect of life in Houston, not only creating outdoor recreation spaces but also serving important flood and resiliency functions.”
